Water Aerobics, a system of physical conditioning that consists of exercises, which while in the water and when vigorously executed, invoke a temporary rise in respiration and heart rate. Enough said… it’s technically a form of the “E” word, yet it commonly doesn’t cause additional damage to the defective system that one would refer to as the human body, or lack thereof.
Do you think it's a bit ironic that women have infiltrated the exercise parlors of the male population, while there are still all female fitness centers that prevail? Hell No! While this was done in the name of equality and resolving oppression, in some degree it must have been out of a need to see what the man had that we didn't, or to prove a point of strength, mental or otherwise.
The men haven't opposed all female centers for very good reason. They subliminally understand that they would not survive in a world of death defying thoughts, silently piercing the air. Women in the front of the fitness center move in rhythm to the cable or an IPod, while the aero girls emulate their own brand of sweaty burlesque. If a man were to make it one step past that mob of hormonal imbalance, then he would chase after his fleeing fin spots, who no doubt ran in a panic from the water aerobics area. In the pool, the hormones that were once thriving in a pain free 20 something body, emerge like a spirited school of murloc's from World of Warcraft living with a Nemo like soul within. Here there are two basic species of water life that cohabitate the region, based on the vacillations with regard to the time of day and level of interaction, for which I’ll write further at a later date.
In short, prime time aquatic dweller I'm not, preferring no socialization or noise. It’s not bad, it's all about quiet focus! If there are numbers, we pass no judgments on one another’s hail damage. On that basis alone, we grieve for each, alone as a group.
As I do my Esther Williams moves in the far corner, a new sport emerges. The silent tsunami synchronized single swim! Stay clear float tube lady and freestyle momma doing the parting of the tide at pool center, my waves are large… Oh, and by the way hot tub queen, subliminally catch this… Move Over!…. my hail damage will need a few of those massage jets soon.

Ranking Time!
Family before business is how it is touted, but is this true? It is only as true as you are to yourself. It's not big business that commands and demands per say, it is a personal note of irony, when one finds there own branded sense of guilt in choosing which gets the marquee space.
I've always said, 20 years from now will big business remember you? No.... It is your family that will be by your side.
For years I've placed business before family with rationalization placed on the almighty paycheck, as well as continued employment and excelling in rank. Also, I have at times been an insurance whore. With a family, benefits are important.
The reality after leaving a child in the freezing ice waiting on a school bus so I wouldn't be 15 minutes late, my daughters missed 16th birthday due to a 13 hour inventory, working after hours while the kids (who were adults at the time) handed out trick or treat candy for me, and so on and on... It's time family really comes first! For those of you out there in constant state of paranoia pertaining to the third paragraph, give it up. When you make family plans, stick to them, as grandkids, kids, parents, and family as a whole are just the topping on the cake of life. You can have memories, but you can't have them if you weren't there.

My, My, How the Years Do Fly!
Flying time, wings or not, it doth occur. It's been over a year since my last post and I've now become a grandmother. Life is good when those unconditional eyes look at you! That's what it's all about.
Ok, for those of you wondering, yes, I'm still in the pod world. Enough about that, no more, no less, no thing I want to say.
Thank you Little Man for making me smile and to the Big Guy, thank you for loving us all.

Vacation, The Real Surreal
Ah, vacation is such a glorious thing! Ok, so the reality is there is no reality, only moments of insanity. All in all, March of 2004 was such a joke. If only one could project which of the things happening now are either of use or not, society could be a productive engine. Vacation, is of use in the process of determining use from waste.
It's time for vacation, reflection and Thanksgiving.

Fortune Cookie Oxymoron
Depart not from the path which fate has you assigned.
Ok, think off center, how can one truly depart from a predetermined course of events often held to be an irresistible power or agency?
Ah..... the art of practice what you preach, but never truly follow....
Go with the gut!

Lessons in Karma
Never open a fortune cookie discarded by another, lest you deserve the proverbial wisdom you receive. Oh yes, that cookie from that Great Wall around the corner, resting comfortably in the center of kitchen counter top, called my name and drew me in. I knew better, this was not my fortune, but to resist was futile.
Phrase of the day: "Don't count your chickens before they're hatched".
A. - Miss Cleo knew about bird flu and the havoc it was to reek yesterday!
B. - It was just a reminder that at this age in the game, it should have said, "Your eggs have dried up, that's what the hysterectomy was all about honey". What makes a fortune cookie company, excuse me, but a noodle company in Stone Mountain, Georgia, think that my eggs are truly worth counting anyway. And they are less than a half hour from Atlanta with no website, that's just wrong.
All in all, expecting nothing in the near future will surely leave me slightly more than amused than I am now. I will celebrate tomorrow morning first thing that another day has arrived. I will ponder and laugh, primarily that this was not my cookie, therefore opening it was only a silent directive. Marketing at it's finest! No doubt this initiative came out of many hours wasted in conference calls and etrees. Now I feel compelled to order take out tomorrow for hope of redemption. Could it be possible that a slightly more attractive phrase will arrive in the next soy bean oil product that is not really free of charge with the sweet and sour?
My next oxymoron goal in life: Just for kicks, send resume to a fortune 500 cookie company in China outsourcing to India.
In closing, purchasing that Tahoe is out until all chickens are present and accounted for. Yes Virginia, I do believe there is a Santa Claus! In genius, it's Gary Larson, and I for one am not about to violate Title 17 by infringement of the Far Side, as we most assuredly must all be residing there.
P.S. This will conclude the talk of dancing chickens, (poultry in motion), and the byproducts thereof, organic and/or wine induced. Menopausal dialogue, naturally or surgically influenced, will continue out of the need find humor in my body refusing to cooperate with my mind, in more ways than one.

Does it really matter... Yes, some things do....
For those of you that truly know my career life, you know this is a trying time for my soul. Yesterday, the things I found most important at the end of the day were the things that carry on from generation to generation. It's not really those profound important moments where I felt tired in trying to help in things that are definitely not within my power or control.
It was: Talking to my niece about how much wine to place in water to keep it from freezing solid. (Poultry in motion) Which is no laughing stock, it works, and they do get in motion and the eggs start flowing.
It was: My son calling for the fine tune instructions on how to make French Toast, eggs, temperature, etc.., in the same manner as I and my mother and countless generations previous have made it.
It was: Nothing I could find at work.... It really doesn't matter unless it's healing your heart, and making a positive difference in the world. That was what I have experienced for 8 years, but my heart is breaking for this company that I have loved and felt was part of my family. I hope the company survives to see 44 as I have and have a few poultry and egg moments left for the soul.

And in the beginning, there was air and she could breathe ....
Greetings.... First official moment and contract of thought, a sigh of brain release, my soul has found a home in blogland. Thank you to Susan Mernit for your inspiration without the realization of our being present, watching and understanding in more ways than most will ever be able to comprehend.
